ANOTHER WOMAN.

Of course I still think about you,
the feel of you.

You can no longer capture loss.
Along the other side of my mind I travel fast-
Following a beat of voices.
The sweet scent of magnolias.
-

You remember our magnolia minds?

Its ok- I can no longer smell you either.
The loss makes it easier to remember.

An empty stomach dosing on a growth
of one flower.
to call itself
pure.

I found myself waking up
in bed
with a thousand humming birds by my side.
